Gadchiroli, December 22, 2025: B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director of Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited (LME), continued to advance his long-term vision for inclusive and sustainable development in Gadchiroli through a combination of employee ownership initiatives and education-led community engagement.

As part of the company’s annual Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programme, 1,692 employees were extended ESOP benefits during a ceremony held at Hedri village in Gadchiroli. The initiative is aimed at fostering a sense of ownership among employees and ensuring that organisational growth is shared equitably. Implemented on an annual basis, the ESOP programme recognises employee contributions and positions them as long-term partners in the company’s progress.

Alongside employee-focused initiatives, education and institution-building remain central to LME’s community engagement efforts. Lloyds Raj Vidya Niketan (LRVN) hosted its annual day celebration, ‘Udit Utsav – 2’, at Hedri, where students presented a range of cultural performances highlighting India’s heritage, diversity, and contemporary values. A key highlight of the event was the skit ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’, performed by the school’s youngest students, which was widely appreciated for its creativity and cultural depth.

Commenting on the initiatives, Mr. B. Prabhakaran said, “My vision for Gadchiroli is to create an ecosystem where children are empowered to dream big, employees become partners in progress, and teachers, doctors and professionals choose to build their futures here. By sharing the region’s wealth through education, opportunity and ownership, we want young people from this land to emerge as global leaders—grounded in knowledge, empathy and human values.”

Addressing students and parents during the celebration, Mr. Prabhakaran encouraged young learners to look beyond conventional career paths and consider entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership as key drivers of India’s future.

Together, the annual ESOP distribution and education-led initiatives reflect an integrated approach to regional development that combines industrial growth with employee empowerment and social investment. The initiatives underscore LME’s broader objective of building institutions that generate shared value for employees, communities, and the Gadchiroli region.
