New Delhi, September 03, 2025: Microchip Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: MCHP), a global provider of smart, connected, and secure embedded control and processing solutions, has strengthened its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in India by expanding projects in education, skills-based training, and community development. The initiatives aim to advance youth development and workforce readiness while aligning with national CSR priorities.
Microchip has reconstructed schools near Bengaluru’s rural districts, carried out road improvement projects, and is building two new schools in Karnataka to enhance access to foundational education. In Tamil Nadu, the company inaugurated an upgraded Centre of Excellence in 2022 for children in Krishnagiri and supported the reconstruction of schools and hostels. A monthly school clean-up initiative in Chennai also engages employees and their families in community service.
In Hyderabad, Microchip has partnered with the Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG), Youth-Hub (Y-Hub), and the Inqui-Lab Foundation to launch an innovation space at a Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society all-girls’ high school in Maheshwaram. The facility provides students with hands-on learning opportunities through prototyping kits, maker tools, and teacher training.

Microchip integrates sustainability practices into its operations and works with its Sustainability Megatrend team to help customers reduce resource consumption through high-efficiency products.
