Melodies with a Mission: Javed Ali and Disha Mudda Deliver Soulful Performances at Fundraiser for Project Aangan – A Palliative Care Initiative

Mumbai, Oct 18, 2024 – Light of Life Trust hosted a heartwarming musical fundraiser at NCPA’s Jamshed Bhabha Theatre in support of its ambitious Project Aangan. The event, held on October 18, began with a presentation outlining the vision and mission of Light of Life Trust, focusing on Project Aangan, which operates a palliative care center dedicated to easing the healing process for the needy.

The concert was headlined by sensational singers Javed Ali and Disha Mudda, who delivered soulful performances that captivated the audience. 

Event Highlights:

  • Performances by Underprivileged Children: Talented children from the Anant program showcased their musical skills with heartfelt performances. Their innocent voices and genuine emotional renditions left a lasting impact on the audience.
  • Electrifying Acts by Disha Mudda & Javed Ali: Disha Mudda’s melodious voice provided a beautiful start to the evening with a mix of Bollywood and contemporary classics. Javed Ali followed with his iconic hits like "Kun Faya Kun" and "Arziyan," filling the venue with a serene blend of spiritual and romantic melodies. The two singers also performed a duet, leaving the audience enchanted by their combined vocal prowess.

During the concert, both artists encouraged the audience to support Light of Life Trust’s initiatives, particularly Project Aangan, which aims to transform lives through holistic care.

According to officials from Light of Life Trust, Project Aangan focuses on providing residential care for terminally ill patients, offering a holistic healthcare center that addresses the spiritual, psychological, and social needs of both patients and caregivers.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the establishment of a state-of-the-art hospice at Uttan, Bhayandar, as part of Project Aangan, providing compassionate care for terminally ill patients.

Since 2005, Light of Life Trust, a non-profit organization, has been committed to transforming rural communities through education, healthcare, skill training, and environmental conservation.
