New Delhi, October 13 2025: The Marriott India Business Council commemorated the 11th edition of its flagship annual philanthropic initiative, “Road to Give,” uniting associates, partners, and communities across India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka in a regional celebration of movement, compassion, and social responsibility.
Launched over a decade ago as a small internal effort to connect associates through fitness and giving, Road to Give has evolved into a large-scale community movement that embodies Marriott’s values of empathy, inclusion, and care. The 2025 edition witnessed the participation of more than 10,000 associates who came together to run, walk, cycle, and move for a cause, collectively raising over ₹1 crore.
The funds will support Rising Star Outreach of India, a Chennai-based non-profit organization that provides education, healthcare, and vocational training to rehabilitate individuals and families affected by leprosy.
Reinforcing Marriott’s core value of “Putting People First,” associates across participating hotels organized local wellness events, charity runs, and volunteer activities aimed at promoting both physical well-being and social impact.
Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, Marriott India Business Council, said,
“Each year, Road to Give reminds us of the extraordinary power of collective purpose. As we commemorate the 11th year of this remarkable initiative, we celebrate not just the funds raised or the miles covered, but the spirit of unity and compassion our associates bring to their communities. Their efforts continue to strengthen Marriott’s legacy of care and commitment across the region.”
Over the past 11 years, Road to Give has become a cornerstone of Marriott’s community engagement efforts in South Asia. Beyond fundraising, the initiative encourages associates to become agents of change and advocates for wellness, inclusion, and empathy — embodying Marriott’s commitment to social progress and sustainability.
Since its inception, the initiative has successfully supported a range of local and regional causes, including education, child welfare, healthcare, and women’s empowerment. Each year’s campaign builds upon Marriott’s broader vision of driving meaningful, long-term impact through associate-led initiatives and partnerships with local organizations.
As the Marriott India Business Council looks ahead, it has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the reach of Road to Give and deepening its impact through continued collaboration with NGOs and community partners.
The company extended its gratitude to all associates, partners, and participants for their contribution to making the 2025 edition a success, emphasizing that every step taken brings the organization closer to its vision of a more compassionate and inclusive future.
