New Delhi, January 13, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced the 12th edition of its flagship CSR initiative, Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan, continuing its long-standing effort to support the education of truck drivers’ daughters across India. The latest edition will award 1,000 scholarships of ₹10,000 each to eligible students who have passed Class 10 and are pursuing further education.
Since its launch in 2014, the programme has disbursed 11,029 scholarships worth over ₹11 crore, making it one of the most sustained education-focused CSR initiatives in the commercial vehicle sector. The scholarships are open to daughters of truck drivers irrespective of the truck brand driven or owned by their fathers
The Saarthi Abhiyaan is designed to recognise the efforts of truck drivers who prioritise their daughters’ education and to encourage continued learning beyond secondary school. Selection for the 12th edition will be carried out through outreach programmes across more than 75 transport hubs nationwide, following a transparent and independent process. The selected students will receive the scholarship amount through direct bank transfer along with a certificate of recognition. Felicitation ceremonies are scheduled to be held between February and March 2026 at select locations.
