Lupin Debuts on TIME and Statista's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 List

Mumbai, July 07, 2026: Global pharma major Lupin Limited has made its debut on TIME and Statista's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list, marking recognition of the company's progress in environmental stewardship, responsible business practices, governance and social impact.

The company has been ranked 318th among the 750 firms selected from more than 5,000 of the world's largest and most influential organisations. The assessment evaluated companies across over 20 sustainability indicators, covering sustainability commitments and ratings, reporting transparency, and environmental and social performance. Lupin is among 16 Indian companies featured in this year's global ranking.

Commenting on the recognition, Ramesh Swaminathan, Executive Director, Global CFO, Head of IT and API Plus SBU, Lupin, said, "Our inclusion in TIME and Statista's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 marks an important recognition for us. It also builds on the company's strong ESG track record, which includes the highest 'A' leadership rating from CDP for both Climate Change and Water Security, and a score of 91 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment.

The listing further underlines Lupin's ongoing efforts to embed sustainability across its business operations while contributing to broader climate and social goals within the pharmaceutical sector.
