Lupin Debuts in Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices 2026

Mumbai, May 19, 2026: Lupin Limited has been included for the first time in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJBIC) Indices 2026, reflecting the company’s performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

The pharmaceutical company has been listed in both the DJBIC World Index and the DJBIC Emerging Markets Index. The indices recognise companies demonstrating strong sustainability performance based on the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

According to the company, the DJBIC World Index tracks top-performing companies globally on ESG parameters, while the DJBIC Emerging Markets Index highlights sustainability leaders from emerging economies.

Lupin stated that it had earlier ranked among the top 1% globally in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2025 with a score of 91 out of 100.

The company said its inclusion in the indices strengthens its positioning among global firms recognised for sustainability-led business practices and reinforces investor confidence in its governance and operational standards.
