L&T Technology Services Launches AI-Native Manufacturing Lab in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, October 12, 2026: L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has inaugurated an AI-Native Engineering Intelligence (EI) Lab for Digital Manufacturing in Bengaluru, featuring NVIDIA-accelerated technologies for digital twins, industrial artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous manufacturing systems.
The lab provides an environment for customers and partners to explore how AI, digital engineering and physical systems can work together across manufacturing operations. It demonstrates applications spanning virtual validation, connected production, intelligent operations and increasingly autonomous systems.
The facility extends LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence capabilities to manufacturing environments and is designed to help enterprises understand how these technologies can be integrated into industrial processes.
The lab is structured around three key capability areas. Manufacturing Intelligence includes an AI-powered Manufacturing Command Center, a manufacturing data fabric with a knowledge graph, a supply chain control tower, AI-powered production planning and multi-plant benchmarking.
The AI-Native Factory brings together intelligent machines, robots, collaborative robots (cobots), drones, autonomous systems and digital twins to execute manufacturing tasks with minimal human intervention. Its NVIDIA-accelerated environment incorporates NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, NVIDIA PhysX, NVIDIA Cosmos, NVIDIA NeMo and OpenUSD-based digital twin workflows. These technologies support simulation, accelerated visualisation and applications of Industrial AI and Physical AI.
The third area, Operations AI & Autonomy, focuses on verifying actions generated by AI agent swarms before they are executed by machines. This verification layer is intended to support governed execution and safer autonomous decision-making across factory design and simulation, production, process and quality control, maintenance, and sustainability.
The lab also features LTTS’ EIOne, its unified Engineering Intelligence platform. The platform brings together more than 100 EI solutions and agentic AI swarms within a governed ecosystem, enabling enterprises to build, deploy and scale AI-driven engineering and manufacturing workflows while maintaining security and operational control.
“AI is transforming how manufacturers design, simulate and operate the factories of the future,” said Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA. “The EI Lab, combining NVIDIA technologies spanning hardware, software and world models and LTTS’ deep engineering expertise, gives manufacturers a practical environment to explore and validate AI-driven, simulation-first approaches to industrial transformation.”
Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director, L&T Technology Services and NASSCOM Executive Council Member, said, “The EI Lab for Manufacturing brings Engineering Intelligence into a tangible manufacturing environment, allowing customers to experience how engineering, AI and physical systems can come together to address real-world challenges. Our collaboration with NVIDIA adds advanced simulation and accelerated computing capabilities to this environment, while our engineering & manufacturing expertise helps translate these technologies into practical manufacturing solutions for our global customers.”
Through the new facility, LTTS aims to demonstrate how simulation, AI and engineering capabilities can be applied to manufacturing challenges, from factory planning and production optimisation to asset reliability and sustainability.
