Kotak Securities' Kona Kona Shiksha Reaches 3.6 Lakh Youth with Financial Literacy

Mumbai, August 03, 2026: Kotak Securities Limited (KSL) has announced that its flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kona Kona Shiksha, has empowered approximately 3.6 lakh young people with financial literacy since its launch in July 2021.

Implemented in partnership with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), the programme reached 72,624 students during FY26 across 293 cities and 909 colleges nationwide. The initiative aims to enhance financial awareness among students by equipping them with practical knowledge of personal finance and investment.

The programme offers a structured 10-hour learning module covering personal finance, investment fundamentals, securities markets and financial planning. Participants also undertake an online assessment and receive NISM certification, helping them build industry-relevant financial skills.
