Kotak Mahindra Bank Launches Sehat Ka Safar 4.0 to Expand Preventive Healthcare for Transport Workforce

Mumbai, 12 February, 2026: Kotak Mahindra Bank has launched ‘Sehat Ka Safar 4.0’, the fourth edition of its flagship CSR initiative aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare access for India’s transport community, including truck drivers, transporters, and their families.

The programme builds on earlier editions and introduces several new components to enhance healthcare delivery. Under Sehat Ka Safar 4.0, beneficiaries will receive an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card, enabling them to store and track their medical records digitally. The initiative also adds expanded laboratory testing and chest X-ray facilities to improve diagnostic capabilities and support early detection of health conditions.

Launched in 2022, Sehat Ka Safar has organised more than 120 health camps across over 75 cities in its first three editions, reaching nearly 13,500 drivers. The fourth edition, which commenced on 18 December 2025, will run until 31 March 2026. More than 45 health and eye check-up camps are planned across key transport corridors in states including Odisha, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab.

Through this phase, the Bank aims to provide preventive healthcare services to approximately 4,500 truck drivers and their families. Camps are set up at transport hubs and logistics corridors to address the limited access to healthcare often faced by drivers due to long-distance travel and demanding schedules.

“India’s logistics sector is the backbone of our economy, and its strength lies in the wellbeing of the people who keep it moving. Through Sehat Ka Safar 4.0, Kotak Mahindra Bank is deepening its social responsibility by delivering preventive healthcare directly to transport hubs—helping drivers and their families access essential health services, enabling early detection, and fostering a healthier, more resilient workforce that powers sustainable economic growth,” said Amit Mohan, President – Logistics & Infrastructure, Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Each camp is supported by qualified doctors, paramedical staff, and counsellors who conduct medical check-ups, raise awareness about preventive healthcare, and guide beneficiaries on accessing relevant government welfare schemes.

With expanded reach and enhanced diagnostics, Sehat Ka Safar 4.0 continues to focus on improving long-term health outcomes and strengthening resilience within India’s transport ecosystem.
