New Delhi, July 21, 2026: The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) has awarded interest-free loan scholarships worth ₹4.26 crore to 92 scholars under the K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies, marking the programme's 70th year.
Established in 1956, the scholarship is one of India's longest-running postgraduate scholarship programmes. It was originally created to support Indian students pursuing disciplines overseas that were not available in the country, with the objective of contributing to India's development upon their return.
In its landmark 70th year, the Trust has expanded the scholarship to include students pursuing postgraduate studies in India, reflecting its support for the country's higher education ecosystem.

My heartfelt congratulations to all the scholars.”
