Jindal Stainless Foundation Launches ‘Parivartan’ for Ladwa Village Development

Hisar, August 24, 2026: Jindal Stainless Foundation (JSF), the CSR wing of Jindal Stainless, has launched ‘Parivartan’, an Integrated Village Development Programme aimed at supporting the holistic development of Ladwa Village in Hisar, Haryana. The initiative is expected to benefit approximately 7,500–8,000 residents through interventions covering healthcare, education, livelihoods, women empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Located near Jindal Stainless’ manufacturing facility in Hisar, Ladwa Village will be covered under a participatory development model that addresses social, economic and environmental needs. The programme will include initiatives related to healthcare, education, women empowerment, agriculture, livelihood promotion, sanitation, environmental sustainability, community participation and institutional strengthening.

Commenting on the initiative, Deepika Jindal, Chairperson, Jindal Stainless Foundation, said, “At Jindal Stainless, we believe that true progress is achieved when communities grow alongside businesses. Through ‘Parivartan’, we aim to create a sustainable and inclusive development model for Ladwa Village by addressing critical areas such as healthcare, education, livelihoods, and environmental sustainability. Our endeavour is to empower residents with opportunities, strengthen local institutions, and enable the community to become self-reliant. We are committed to building partnerships that create lasting social impact and contribute to the overall development of the region.”

The programme will begin with a baseline survey and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to assess the socio-economic conditions of the village, identify development gaps and map available resources. The findings will be used to prepare a Village Development Plan in consultation with local stakeholders.

JSF will work with the Gram Panchayat, government departments, local institutions, community-based organisations, NGOs and residents during implementation. Regular Gram Sabha meetings and consultations with youth, women, farmers, teachers, frontline workers and local leaders will be conducted to support community participation and accountability.

Through Parivartan, Jindal Stainless Foundation aims to strengthen local capacities and community ownership while developing long-term solutions aligned with the identified needs of Ladwa Village.
