Mumbai, July 22, 2025: Innomotics India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Germany-based Innomotics GmbH, has announced the launch of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in India. Grounded in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) framework, the initiative aims to support underprivileged children through investments in education, health, and holistic development.

A key feature of the initiative is the launch of the Innomotics INGenius Scholarship Program, which will fund tuition, accommodation, books, internet, and stationery for students pursuing engineering and diploma courses. The first batch comprises 12 students selected on the basis of academic merit, aspirations, and socioeconomic background. The program also includes internships and soft skills training to enhance employability.

In addition to the scholarship, Innomotics is working to improve infrastructure and vocational education in government-run schools.

The company has partnered with two Mumbai-based NGOs—Sangopita and Desire Society—to support over 120 children. Sangopita serves children with physical, mental, and sensory impairments, while Desire Society focuses on the well-being of children living with HIV/AIDS. The CSR efforts include financial assistance, career counselling, exam preparation, and exposure visits such as a recent trip to the Nehru Science Planetarium.

“True success of our business is reflected in the positive impact that we deliver in the world around us,” said Satish Godbole, Executive Director, Innomotics APAC & ME. “By engaging our employees in meaningful CSR activities like these, we not only contribute to the well-being of our communities but also nurture a sense of purpose and fulfilment among our team members.”

Alex Nazareth, CEO of Innomotics India, emphasized the broader vision of the initiative, stating, “Our aim is to ensure local communities are given opportunities to overcome the disadvantages and achieve their true potential. Innomotics India not only ensures basic essentials through such initiatives, but also looks at the holistic development of the children.”

Ankur Jindal, CFO of Innomotics India, added, “Our objective is to go beyond business requirements. We believe organisations have to be integrated into the society and bring positive changes to the communities around them to ensure progress is felt everywhere.”

All programs are volunteer-driven by Innomotics employees to instill a culture of purpose and community engagement. With its India office based in Mumbai and a global legacy spanning 150 years, Innomotics aims to continue supporting traditional and new energy industries through innovative, sustainable initiatives.
