New Delhi, September 1, 2025: HopeWorks Foundation celebrated its fifth anniversary with the announcement of two new initiatives aimed at advancing opportunities for girls from underserved communities—the launch of the HopeVerse app and the unveiling of the Witches Hunt program.

The anniversary event, Voices of Hope, brought together mentors, donors, trustees, and the Foundation’s “Hope Citizens” to celebrate five years of impact. The evening also marked the inauguration of the 6th batch of girls joining the program and a farewell to the 3rd batch, many of whom are now career-ready and stepping into professional roles.

The newly launched HopeVerse app is designed to give adolescent girls access to mentorship, peer communities, and learning resources on demand. The Witches Hunt initiative will focus on identifying women from underserved backgrounds who aspire to pursue careers in technology, equipping them with tools, networks, and opportunities for success.

Speaking about the milestone, Jacintha Jayachandran, Founder and Trustee of HopeWorks Foundation, said: “We are not just celebrating a milestone; we are setting the stage for the future. With HopeVerse and Witches Hunt, our mission is to give every girl the power to imagine, the tools to grow, and the courage to lead. This is not about charity—it’s about building pathways to lasting transformation.”

The event also highlighted personal stories of resilience and showcased the talents of program participants, reinforcing the Foundation’s belief that when girls are provided the right opportunities, they not only change their own lives but also impact their communities.

Since its inception in 2019, the Bengaluru-based HopeWorks Foundation has supported hundreds of adolescent girls, known as Hope Citizens, through education, mentorship, and holistic development. Its programs focus on life skills, career guidance, digital empowerment, and leadership, with the vision of ensuring that every girl, regardless of background, can learn, grow, and lead with dignity and purpose.
