Bengaluru, October 15, 2026: Honeywell Technologies has launched Forge Cognition, an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) and simulation platform developed with NVIDIA and Dell Technologies to improve facility operations across buildings, campuses and industrial environments.

The platform combines real-time digital twins with AI agents to help facility teams analyse equipment performance, identify emerging issues, simulate operational changes and coordinate responses across supported existing systems. The company said the technology is designed to improve asset reliability, energy efficiency and operational performance while maintaining occupant comfort.

“The physical world demands more than a powerful AI model. It requires AI to understand how systems actually operate and interact—that is where the next breakthrough is happening,” said Suresh Venkatarayalu, Chief Technology Officer, Honeywell Technologies. “Forge Cognition combines AI with operational context and engineering expertise, opening a new era of intelligent operations where AI can analyze, recommend and act alongside people.”

AI for Facility Management and Predictive Maintenance

Forge Cognition connects with existing customer deployments and uses Honeywell Technologies’ operational expertise and systems data to help AI agents interpret equipment behaviour and relationships between systems.

Its applications include automated alarm classification to help operators prioritise critical events, predictive asset health monitoring using real-time heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) data, and digital twin simulations to assess energy-saving opportunities without compromising occupant comfort.

The platform is designed to support manual, semi-autonomous and autonomous operating modes. Operators can determine the level of oversight and retain the ability to override the system.

NVIDIA and Dell Technologies Provide AI Infrastructure

NVIDIA contributes AI models, simulation technologies and accelerated computing capabilities. NVIDIA Nemotron models support agents that interpret operational data, while NVIDIA Omniverse libraries enable physically accurate simulations. The platform also uses NVIDIA Cosmos models and the NVIDIA Metropolis VSS Blueprint to help vision AI agents analyse live or recorded sensor data.

Dell Technologies provides computing, data storage and related infrastructure through the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. This includes Dell PowerEdge XE servers, Dell AI Data Platform data and storage engines, cyber resiliency solutions and support from Dell Services.

“Physical AI is bringing new intelligence to the complex systems that run our buildings and industrial facilities,” said Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA. “Honeywell Technologies is combining NVIDIA AI and simulation technologies with its deep industrial expertise to help customers anticipate equipment issues, improve reliability and energy efficiency across the infrastructure they already operate.”

"The next wave of AI innovation will be driven by intelligent systems that can reason, learn and act in the context of real-world operations," said John Roese, global chief technology and chief AI officer, Dell Technologies. "The Dell AI Factory provides the infrastructure and services that support Honeywell's vision for intelligent physical operations."

Pilot Deployments Report Early Results

Honeywell Technologies is piloting Forge Cognition at NVIDIA’s Voyager campus in Santa Clara, California; the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai; NEX Mall in Singapore; Vanderbilt University in the United States; and its own campuses in Bengaluru and Richardson, Texas. The company has an installed base spanning more than 300,000 sites.

At NVIDIA’s Voyager campus, the pilot has reported an average reduction of up to 90% in unnecessary alerts. The platform has also identified the potential to reduce energy and utility consumption by up to 10%, while maintaining a comfort score above 95%, based on a weighted average of temperature, humidity and CO2 measurements across zones.

The pilot also uses real-time HVAC data to predict equipment health and help teams plan maintenance, with the aim of reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.

Honeywell Technologies said customers can engage with the company to identify and scope Forge Cognition deployments, with platform capabilities expected to expand over time.
