Hikal Earns EcoVadis Gold Medal, Ranks Among Top 5% Globally for Sustainability

Mumbai, July 29, 2026: Hikal Limited, a partner to global pharmaceutical, crop protection and specialty chemical companies, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing it among the top 5% of more than 175,000 companies assessed globally by EcoVadis for sustainability performance.

The company secured an overall score of 84 out of 100 and ranked in the 97th percentile in the EcoVadis assessment. According to Hikal, it is one point short of the Platinum Medal threshold of 85 points and aims to achieve that milestone in the next assessment cycle.

EcoVadis evaluates organisations across more than 185 countries and 250 industries, assessing performance in four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

According to the company, the Gold Medal further enhances its credibility with global customers and investors who increasingly use EcoVadis ratings as part of their supplier evaluation and partnership decisions.
