Noida, November 06, 2025: HCLFoundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of HCLTech, celebrated the 10th anniversary of the HCLTech Grant, its flagship rural development initiative supporting innovative projects by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) across India.

Since its inception in 2015, the HCLTech Grant has invested over ₹169 crore, positively impacting 2.3 million lives through 67 projects—49 completed and 18 currently active. The initiative has received 87,000+ registrations and 13,000+ proposals from NGOs over the past decade, establishing itself as one of India’s most credible CSR programs focused on large-scale, long-term impact.

Over the years, the Grant has delivered measurable outcomes, including:

  • Conservation of 114 million litres of water
  • Construction and rejuvenation of 245 water bodies
  • 67,095 tons reduction in carbon emissions
  • Recycling and sustainable management of 2,722 tons of waste
  • Plantation of 1.77 lakh saplings

To mark the milestone, HCLFoundation announced a 45% increase in its annual outlay to ₹24 crore for the 11th edition of the program. The new edition will include project categories in Water, Biodiversity, Education, and Healthcare, with each winning NGO receiving ₹5 crore for a four-year project and eight runner-up NGOs receiving ₹50 lakh each for two-year initiatives.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson, HCLTech, said, “HCLTech Grant has successfully driven change at the grassroots, from inclusive growth to revitalizing ecosystems by empowering NGOs, who are the fifth estate of our society. Our focus now is on scaling the impact of the projects, expanding into new areas and investing in research and digital monitoring. We extend our deep gratitude to the NGO partners who have been part of this innovative program over the past decade.”

Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Senior Vice President, Global CSR at HCLTech and Director of HCLFoundation, added, “We have demonstrated that strong partnerships with NGOs can deliver meaningful transformation. The true impact goes beyond numbers — it is seen in restored dignity and transformed lives.”

The HCLTech Grant aims to strengthen grassroots organizations driving inclusive growth in rural India. With a growing emphasis on sustainability, transparency, and digital integration, HCLFoundation plans to build on its decade-long legacy of impact.

To date, HCLFoundation’s various programs have positively impacted more than 6.5 million lives across the country through initiatives in education, health, environment, skill development, livelihoods, and disaster response.
