Telangana, March 02, 2026: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Administration of Peddapalli, Government of Telangana, to implement community development initiatives under its flagship CSR programme, Project SHINE.
The MoU was formalised between Mr. Koya Sree Harsha, I.A.S., District Collector and District Magistrate, Peddapalli, and Shweta Punetha, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), HCCB, in the presence of senior officials and community stakeholders.
Under the agreement, HCCB will plan, co-design and execute CSR interventions aligned with district development priorities. Proposed initiatives include installation of a water filtration unit, sanitation infrastructure improvement, and Health and Water Conservation, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sensitisation sessions in schools and communities across Mutharam, Ramagiri and Manthani.
The partnership also includes pond beautification to strengthen local water infrastructure, expansion of Naagrik Soochna Kendras (NSKs) to improve citizen access to state and central government schemes, and programmes focused on youth skill development, digital literacy and livelihood support for women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

Project SHINE focuses on five thematic areas: environment and disaster management, WASH initiatives, women empowerment and livelihood, education and skill building, and community development. HCCB has implemented CSR projects in several districts of Telangana in partnership with Y4D Foundation. According to an impact assessment by Deloitte for FY 2024–25, these initiatives have reached approximately 43,000 individuals across the state.
