New Delhi, May 14, 2025: Habuild, a habit-building platform, has announced a partnership with Padma Shri awardee and renowned social worker Phoolbasan Bai Yadav to support the livelihoods of underserved rural women. As part of the initiative, Habuild will donate sewing machines based on public participation in its 14-day yoga program.
For each participant who completes the program as a pledge in honor of a mother figure, Habuild will donate sewing machines worth 14 times the program’s value. The initiative aims to equip thousands of women from rural communities with the tools needed to become self-sustainable.
Saurabh Bothra, CEO and Co-founder of Habuild, said, "Mothers give without limits. We want to offer something back — not just a gesture, but real tools for empowerment. With every pledge, we’re not just honoring a mom, we’re helping another woman start her journey towards independence."
Phoolbasan Bai Yadav, who has empowered over eight lakh women through self-help groups, education, and livelihood programs, expressed her support for the initiative. She stated, "When you give a woman the means to earn, you change the future of her entire family. I’m proud to partner with Habuild and Saurabh Bothra to help more women rise with dignity, strength, and purpose."
The initiative encourages people to recognize and appreciate the mother figures in their lives while contributing to a cause that promotes women's empowerment through livelihood support.
