Chennai, March 05, 2026: Grundfos has launched the Grundfos Intelligent Experience Centre (GIEC) in Chennai, establishing a new demonstration hub focused on energy-efficient and digitally enabled water solutions in India.

The Centre is designed as an immersive platform showcasing the full journey of water—from intake and treatment to distribution, industrial processing, cooling, wastewater transfer and reuse. It demonstrates how Grundfos’ pumps, digital solutions, smart controllers and monitoring technologies can improve efficiency, reliability and sustainability across industries, commercial buildings, utilities and residential applications.

The GIEC will function as a live demonstration and engagement platform for stakeholders including end-users, OEMs, policymakers, consultants, contractors and facility managers. By replicating real-world water flows across industrial, commercial, domestic and utility applications, the Centre aims to provide practical insights into optimising water and energy use.

The facility enables customers and partners to evaluate performance data, map solutions to specific applications and explore strategies to reduce operational costs, energy consumption and water waste through intelligent pumping systems.

Usha Subramaniam, Country President – India, Grundfos, said, “When innovation, sustainable design, and digital management converge, the impact is significant and meaningful. This approach is at the core of Grundfos’ business, and through our Grundfos Intelligent Experience Centre (GIEC) at Chennai, we will be able to demonstrate our ability to play a defining role in India’s transition towards smarter and more resilient water systems.”

Grundfos stated that the Centre aligns with India’s focus on water efficiency, circularity, decarbonisation and digital transformation. The GIEC is positioned as a regional capability hub to support collaboration and knowledge exchange across sectors while advancing intelligent water management practices.
