New Delhi, July 25, 2026: Godrej Enterprises Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal with an overall score of 82, placing the company among the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability performance. The recognition reflects the group's efforts to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices across its operations, manufacturing, governance and supply chain.
EcoVadis, a global business sustainability assessment platform, evaluates organisations across four key areas—Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement—based on the maturity of their ESG management systems, implementation and reporting.
The assessment acknowledged Godrej Enterprises Group's progress in environmental management, including improvements in energy and carbon productivity, water-positive operations, water-use efficiency, zero waste to landfill initiatives, circular economy practices and renewable energy adoption.
It also recognised the company's initiatives in employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, occupational health and safety, learning and development under the Labour & Human Rights category. In Ethics, the assessment highlighted governance measures related to anti-corruption, fraud prevention, whistleblower protection and information security. Under Sustainable Procurement, the company was recognised for integrating ESG considerations into supplier engagement and responsible sourcing practices.
