FFE Opens 2026–27 Scholarship Applications for Engineering, Medical and Law Students
Bengaluru, October 28, 2026: The Foundation for Excellence (FFE) has invited applications for its 2026–27 scholarship programme for first-year students pursuing Engineering, MBBS and Law courses across India. Selected students will receive financial assistance of ₹50,000 or more, based on academic merit and financial need.
Eligible students can apply through FFE’s online portal at ffe.org/scholarships until December 31, 2026. Applicants must be entering the first year of B.E./B.Tech., five-year dual-degree M.Tech., MBBS or LLB programmes during the 2026–27 academic year and must have secured admission through a recognised state or national-level entrance examination.
The organisation’s general scholarship programme does not have separate quotas based on caste, community, gender or religion. Selection is based on academic performance and financial need, with priority given to students demonstrating strong academic potential.
In addition to financial assistance, FFE provides support through its Beyond Scholarships initiatives. These include one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals, English and aptitude training, Hi-Touch Advanced English, technical courses through Coursera and mock interviews. The programmes are designed to help students develop professional skills, improve employability and prepare for career opportunities.
FFE also has a nationwide network of more than 700 facilitators who help identify potential scholarship recipients, verify financial need and maintain engagement with students throughout their education. The organisation works with students across India, including those from rural and semi-urban communities, and supports women's participation in STEM disciplines.
Ram Kolavennu, CEO, Foundation for Excellence, said, “Over the years, we have seen the difference that timely support can make to a student’s educational journey and long-term prospects. This year, we hope to reach even more deserving students and equip them with the financial assistance, mentorship and career support required to translate their academic potential into meaningful professional opportunities.”
Since its inception, FFE has awarded more than 160,000 scholarships and disbursed approximately ₹643 crore to students across India. During FY 2025–26, the organisation awarded scholarships worth ₹116 crore to 22,440 students across 520 engineering colleges, 370 medical colleges and 79 law institutes.
The 2026–27 scholarship programme continues FFE’s efforts to support students pursuing professional education by combining financial assistance with mentorship and career development opportunities.
