Ballari, December 19, 2025: Epsilon Foundation, the CSR arm of Epsilon Carbon Private Limited, has implemented a series of integrated healthcare initiatives across Ballari district, focusing on preventive care, early diagnosis, and medical awareness for schoolchildren and rural communities.
As part of the initiative, the Foundation organised School Health Check-up and Treatment Camps across 12 government schools, benefiting more than 2,000 students. The camps provided primary healthcare services on school premises, enabling early identification of health concerns and supporting students’ physical well-being and school attendance. The programme aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 on Good Health and Well-being.
In addition, the Foundation conducted Diabetes Awareness, Testing and Treatment Camps across 15 villages in Sandur Taluk. The camps were organised in partnership with the Government Health Centre, Vitalapur, and HelpAge India, and were held around World Diabetes Day. The initiative addressed the growing burden of non-communicable diseases by offering free diabetes testing, on-the-spot diagnosis, medical consultations, and awareness sessions on nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and long-term disease management. Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, including the elderly, women, and individuals with existing health risks.
Vikram Handa, Managing Director, Epsilon Group, said, “At Epsilon, we believe access to timely healthcare can significantly change health outcomes, especially in the rural communities. Through our school health programmes and rural diabetes camps in Ballari, we are focusing on early diagnosis, preventive care, and long-term health awareness. These initiatives reflect our commitment to building healthier, more resilient communities by providing healthcare to all.”
Together, the school health camps and rural diabetes initiatives underscore Epsilon Foundation’s approach to strengthening community health by improving access to essential medical services, promoting preventive care, and encouraging healthier lifestyles. Through continued on-ground engagement and partnerships, the Foundation aims to create sustained health outcomes for rural populations across Ballari district.
