New Delhi, April 08, 2026: EaseMyTrip Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Delhi, to undertake urban enhancement and sustainability initiatives across key infrastructure in the national capital.
As part of the collaboration, the Foundation will adopt and maintain two major flyovers—Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Flyover and Apsara Flyover—focusing on improving their aesthetics and surrounding environment. The initiative will include landscaping, plantation, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with PWD standards, along with efforts to enhance the overall visual appeal through sustainable urban design.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Smt. Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, and Shri Parvesh Verma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister (PWD), along with senior officials. The partnership reflects the growing role of public-private collaboration in urban development and civic transformation.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder, EaseMyTrip, said: “We are honoured to partner with the Delhi Government on this meaningful initiative, which aligns strongly with our philosophy of driving impact through action. At EaseMyTrip, we believe in not just enabling seamless travel experiences, but also contributing responsibly to the communities we operate in. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building cleaner, greener, and more thoughtfully designed urban spaces, and we look forward to delivering this with the same efficiency and execution excellence that defines our way of working.”
The initiative is part of EaseMyTrip Foundation’s broader efforts to promote environmental sustainability and community development. The Foundation has previously been associated with the Government of India’s Adopt a Heritage 2.0 programme, supporting infrastructure and visitor experience improvements at sites such as Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, the Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho, and the Sun Temple.
In addition to infrastructure development, the Foundation continues to undertake plantation drives and awareness campaigns aimed at fostering responsible urban and tourism practices. Through these initiatives, EaseMyTrip Foundation is expanding its CSR footprint while contributing to sustainable and inclusive urban ecosystems.
