Earth Day Inter-School Competition 2026 to Unite 24 Gurugram Schools at Renewable Energy Park

Gurugram, April 18, 2026: In a significant step toward promoting sustainability awareness among students, Guided Fortune Samiti, in collaboration with the District Administration of Gurugram and Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency, will host the Earth Day Inter-School Competition 2026 on April 22. The event will take place at Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park, located within Leisure Valley Park, and is sponsored by Axis Max Life. 

A total of 24 schools from across the Gurugram district will participate, with equal representation from 12 government and 12 private institutions. The initiative aims to engage young minds in sustainability-driven learning through interactive and competitive formats. 

Focus on Sustainability, Innovation, and Student Engagement 

The Earth Day 2026 competition is designed to nurture environmental consciousness and critical thinking among students. Participants will compete in three key categories—Renewable Energy Model Making, Speech, and Quiz—encouraging them to explore real-world solutions to environmental challenges. 

Organisers emphasised the importance of early education in sustainability, stating that the future of environmental responsibility lies in empowering students through hands-on learning and innovation. The event aligns with global Earth Day themes, focusing on climate action, renewable energy adoption, and community-driven change. 

Dignitaries and Key Highlights of the Event 

The programme will be attended by prominent officials, including Sonu Bhatt, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Gurugram, as the Chief Guest and Captain Indu Boken, District Education Officer (D.E.O), Gurugram, as the Guest of Honour. Several senior government representatives are also expected to attend, underlining the administrative support for sustainability initiatives in the region.
