Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas Joins Manipal Hospitals to Lead Robotic Oncology Services in Delhi NCR

New Delhi, August 06, 2025: Manipal Hospitals has announced the appointment of Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas as Chairman – Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Centre and Onco Robotic Surgeries for the North-West Cluster. The appointment aims to enhance the hospital’s cancer care services in Delhi NCR, particularly in the field of robot-assisted oncology.

Dr. Dabas brings over 22 years of experience in surgical oncology and is recognized as a pioneer of robotic head and neck cancer surgery in India. He has performed more than 30,000 cancer surgeries, including over 4,000 robot-assisted procedures. His areas of expertise include robotic surgeries for head and neck, thoracic, gynaecologic, urological, gastrointestinal, colorectal, and breast cancers.

Welcoming Dr. Dabas to the team, Mr. Pramod Alagharu, Regional COO North-West Cluster, Manipal Hospitals, said, “We are proud to welcome Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas and his strong team of 150 medical experts.
