Bengaluru, July 16, 2025: Cropin, a global leader in AI solutions for agriculture, has announced a strategic partnership with Wipro, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting firm, to accelerate digital transformation across the agri-food value chain. The collaboration will combine Cropin’s agri-intelligence platform with Wipro’s deep consulting expertise in consumer industries to develop scalable, intelligent, and sustainable solutions for the sector.

This joint effort aims to help agribusinesses navigate critical challenges such as climate volatility, fragmented data systems, and increasing regulatory demands. By offering enhanced traceability, operational visibility, and climate resilience, the solutions are expected to benefit both core agricultural companies and adjacent sectors like retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food service, and quick-service restaurants (QSR).

“Climate change, geopolitical instability, and trade tensions are reshaping the agribusiness landscape. At the same time, regulatory pressures like the EUDR and rising demand for traceability are forcing companies to rethink how they operate,” said Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Cropin. “This partnership with Wipro is a strategic step toward building data-driven, climate-resilient, and compliant supply chains at scale.”

The partnership leverages Cropin’s AI-powered platform, Cropin Sage, which provides actionable insights through its Gen AI and micro language models for climate-smart agriculture. These tools decode crop patterns and conditions across millions of acres, enabling smarter decision-making.

“AI is redefining how agribusinesses operate—from sourcing and production to distribution, compliance, and sustainability,” said Shiva Jayaraman, SVP and Sector Head – Consumer Business, Americas 1, Wipro Limited. “Together with Cropin, we’re helping clients transform their value chains into intelligent ecosystems that deliver measurable outcomes.”

The alliance aims not only to improve supply chain efficiency and transparency but also to contribute to global food system resilience by integrating data-driven practices and AI innovations at scale.
