Mumbai, June 15, 2026: Creative Galileo, an edtech company focused on early childhood learning, has expanded its foundational education initiatives in Maharashtra by supporting more than 1,600 Anganwadis in Wardha district with educational smart kits, digital learning resources, and teacher training programmes.

The initiative aims to strengthen foundational literacy, numeracy, and cognitive development among young children while enhancing the teaching capabilities of Anganwadi workers. According to the company, the programme represents one of its largest deployments to date and is designed to bring technology-enabled learning tools directly to grassroots education centres.

The educational smart kits have been developed to support learning during the early years of childhood, which are considered critical for cognitive and academic development. Alongside the distribution of learning materials, Creative Galileo has committed to training educators across more than 1,600 Anganwadis, equipping them with structured methodologies and practical tools to improve learning outcomes.

The programme was launched by Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, Minister of State, in the presence of government representatives, officials from the Women and Child Welfare Department, and community members.

Speaking on the initiative, Prerna Jhunjhunwala, Founder and CEO of Creative Galileo, said: "Strong learning foundations are built in the earliest years of a child's life. Anganwadis are where millions of Indian children begin that journey, and we believe high-quality learning resources and well-trained teachers belong there as much as they do in any urban classroom. Wardha is a meaningful place to deepen that commitment."

The initiative aligns with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Government of India’s NIPUN Bharat mission, both of which emphasise foundational literacy and numeracy as key pillars of quality education.

Creative Galileo stated that its approach combines curated learning content with teacher capacity-building to support early childhood education at scale. The company currently works with more than 4,000 schools globally and reaches over five lakh students through its technology-driven learning solutions. Its operations extend across India, Singapore, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Wardha programme is expected to contribute to strengthening foundational learning ecosystems in the district while supporting broader efforts to improve early childhood education outcomes.
