New Delhi, November 28, 2025: Anandana – The Coca-Cola India Foundation has highlighted its continued support to the Indian junior women’s hockey team as they prepare for the FIH Women’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2025 in Santiago, Chile. Anandana has been working with Hockey India for over three years to strengthen the talent pipeline and expand opportunities for young women athletes.

The partnership has focused on long-term athlete development through consistent training support, international exposure and structured preparation. As part of this effort, the junior team completed a five-match exposure tour in Australia where players gained valuable experience competing against top-tier international teams. The collaboration has also supported multiple preparatory camps held in India, Amsterdam and Berlin, including sessions on position-specific coaching, technical refinement and high-performance conditioning.

Dr. Dilip Tirkey, President of Hockey India, said, “Anandana – The Coca-Cola India Foundation has been a steady partner in strengthening the women's hockey ecosystem. Their support across specialized camps and the Australia exposure tour has played a meaningful role in preparing our junior athletes for global competition. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to building pathways for young women in hockey.”

Bhola Nath Singh, Secretary General of Hockey India, added, “The journey of a young team requires international experience and consistent performance support. The collaboration with Coca-Cola India under #SheTheDifference has enabled these critical opportunities for our junior women, strengthening their preparation for representing India on the world stage.”

Devyani Rana, Vice President for Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, said, “Our collaboration with Hockey India under #SheTheDifference is rooted in creating sustainable pathways for women athletes to excel. The support for the junior women's team has focused on strengthening their preparation through international exposure, specialized coaching, and comprehensive development initiatives. These investments empower young athletes not just for this World Cup, but for their long-term sporting journeys and contribute to strengthening India's position in women's hockey globally.”

The support package included performance equipment, training tools, uniforms, overseas travel and accommodation, as well as other athlete welfare initiatives. Beyond the national squad, the partnership also contributed to the Junior Women’s National Championships, further reinforcing the development pipeline for women’s hockey in India.

The collaboration between Coca-Cola India and Hockey India continues under the #SheTheDifference initiative, focusing on capability-building, youth development and widening access to opportunities for young women athletes across the country.
