Casio India and Change Is Us Collect Over 1,250 Kgs of Waste in ‘Recycle Responsibly’ Beach Clean-Up Drive at Girgaum Chowpatty

Mumbai, November 08, 2025: In a strong demonstration of corporate sustainability and citizen action, Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in watches, calculators, and musical instruments, partnered with Change Is Us, SHEOWS, Allied Waste Solutions, and Onika Social Welfare Foundation to organise the ‘Recycle Responsibly’ Mega Beach Clean-Up Drive at Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai.

The large-scale initiative, held on November 7, witnessed the participation of over 200 volunteers, including Casio India’s leadership team, employees, and representatives from partner organisations. Together, the volunteers collected more than 1,250 kilograms of plastic and non-biodegradable waste, sending a clear message on the importance of recycling and responsible waste management.
