Boeing Partners with CRPF to Strengthen Para-Sports at NCDE

Telangana, September 17, 2026: The National Divyang Empowerment Centre (NCDE) at Group Centre, CRPF, Jawahar Nagar, is set to strengthen its para-sports facilities through a partnership between the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Boeing India.

Established in 2020 to support Divyang personnel of the Force, NCDE currently provides training in archery and shooting. According to the CRPF, its athletes have secured medals at state, national and international para-sporting events.

Under the partnership, Boeing India will support the Centre with sporting equipment, sports medicine, coaches, nutritionists and other services aimed at helping CRPF Divyang athletes prepare for competitive events. The initiative will be implemented by Boeing’s CSR partner, Sahyog Care For You.

The partnership is also expected to strengthen sports infrastructure and training support at NCDE. The Centre is being developed with modern prosthetics and improved training facilities, with the CRPF stating that it aims to develop NCDE as a future Centre of Excellence for Central Armed Police Forces and state police forces.

Speaking at the event, Sh. G P Singh, IPS, Director General, CRPF, thanked Sh. Salil Gupte, President, Boeing India, for extending the CSR initiative to NCDE Divyangs. He also highlighted Boeing’s work in education, skill development and support for Divyang sports infrastructure.

Mr. Salil Gupte, President, Boeing India & South Asia, said, “We are honoured to serve those who serve the nation. At Boeing, our partnership with CRPF has consistently focused on adding to the incredible strength and resilience of our armed forces and their families. Through this program, we are proud to provide the equipment, infrastructure, and professional coaching necessary to support the competitive performance and physical recovery of differently abled CRPF personnel, enabling them to participate in Paralympic sports. We look forward to seeing these individuals celebrated at global and national competitive events.”

Ms. Praveena Yagnambhat, Chief of Staff, Government Engagement and CSR Head, Boeing India and South Asia, visited NCDE to assess its requirements before resources were mobilised.

Sahyog Care For You has worked on a support mechanism covering sports guidance, infrastructure and training to help develop the sporting abilities of CRPF personnel. The CRPF said a comprehensive policy to add further training modules to the NCDE curriculum is in its final stages.
