Bisleri International Partners with Fisheries College on Plastic Recycling

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, September 24, 2026: Bisleri International has signed a Letter of Association with Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College & Research Institute, Ponneri, Tamil Nadu, to promote plastic recycling and responsible waste management among students and surrounding communities.

The partnership is being undertaken through Bisleri’s Bottles for Change initiative and will involve students from the National Service Scheme (NSS). The students will work with Bisleri’s Bottles for Change team on awareness programmes, plastic waste collection, recycling activities and initiatives focused on responsible waste management.

The collaboration aims to engage students in practical environmental activities while increasing awareness about segregating, collecting and responsibly recycling used plastic on campus and in surrounding communities.

The partnership forms part of Bisleri’s Greener Promise vision. Through Bottles for Change, the company works with educational institutions, communities and other stakeholders on awareness, collection and recycling of used plastic.

The collaboration with Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute will extend these activities through student participation in hands-on sustainability initiatives and community-level awareness.
