Bengaluru, June 26, 2025: Automation Anywhere has announced a collaboration with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to integrate AI-powered automation into the Foundation’s operations. The initiative aims to improve efficiency in donor engagement, supply chain logistics, and delivery management as part of Akshaya Patra’s mission to serve five million mid-day meals daily under the PM POSHAN scheme.
The partnership has already enabled the streamlining of donor management processes, reducing turnaround times from over 20 hours to just 40 minutes. Akshaya Patra currently serves over 2.35 million children across more than 25,000 government and government-aided schools.
Through this collaboration, Automation Anywhere is helping optimize various operational areas including donor engagement, route planning, and supply chain workflows. These enhancements are allowing Akshaya Patra’s teams to focus more on strategic outreach and relationship-building efforts.
“At Akshaya Patra, we view technology as an enabler of purposeful transformation. Our collaboration with Automation Anywhere is helping us harness the potential of AI to not only optimise systems but to deepen our service to children across India. With smarter tools, we are driving meaningful impact at scale faster, more efficiently, and more sustainably,” said Vinod Sudhakar, Chief Information Officer, The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
“At Automation Anywhere, we believe technology can help amplify social impact. This collaboration stands as proof that AI-powered automation can fuel meaningful change—helping every rupee go further, every meal reach faster, and every child be nourished better. It’s about scaling compassion with precision, and building a stronger, healthier India. We are both privileged and committed to work with a mission driven organization like Akshaya Patra,” said Neeti Mehta Shukla, Co-Founder & Chief Social Impact Officer, Automation Anywhere.
The partnership’s next phase includes AI-led enhancements in procurement and production to reduce food waste and improve responsiveness. Real-time data and automation tools will also be used to manage Akshaya Patra’s delivery fleet of over 2,200 vehicles operating across 1,500 routes, targeting improved fuel efficiency and route optimization.
The collaboration aligns with both organizations' focus on leveraging technology to drive scalable social impact, particularly in education and nutrition for children from underprivileged communities.
