Mumbai, January 06, 2025: Asian Paints has announced the elevation of Amit Kumar Singh as Vice President and Group Head – Corporate Affairs & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), marking a significant leadership move as the company continues to deepen its stakeholder engagement, sustainability focus and policy alignment.

With this expanded mandate, Singh will play a pivotal role in shaping Asian Paints’ corporate affairs strategy, government relations, CSR initiatives and broader stakeholder partnerships across India and international markets.

Over 25 Years of Leadership in Policy and Corporate Affairs

Amit Kumar Singh brings with him more than 25 years of extensive experience in policy advocacy and corporate affairs, having worked with reputed multinational corporations and leading Indian companies at India, regional and global levels. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including central and state government ministries, regulators, industry associations, diplomatic missions, think tanks and global institutions.

His professional journey reflects deep involvement in shaping policy and regulatory landscapes across diverse sectors such as defence and aerospace, industrial engineering, chemicals, FMCG, food processing, agriculture and the medical devices industry. Singh has also been instrumental in driving strategic engagements, market access initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and investment decisions in both domestic and international markets.

In his new role, Singh will continue to serve as a strategic advisor to CSR, ESG and investor engagement initiatives, reinforcing Asian Paints’ position as a responsible corporate citizen.
