Ambuja Foundation, Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Launch Security Guard Skill Academy in Rajasthan

Chirawa, Rajasthan | October 13, 2026: Ambuja Foundation, in collaboration with Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation (NSF), has launched a Security Guard Skill Academy in Chirawa, Rajasthan, building on a guard training programme that has been running at the Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) in Chirawa since 2021.

Located near Chirawa Railway Station in Jhunjhunu district, the academy will provide vocational training to youth from Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. It will offer training in unarmed security services and plans to introduce a Fire and Safety course to prepare candidates for a wider range of jobs.

The initiative builds on Chirawa’s longstanding association with military service. Since 2021, Ambuja Foundation and NSF have trained more than 600 young men and women in security guard skills at SEDI Chirawa, recording a placement rate of 94%. The programme has worked with more than 20 placement partners across Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and Telangana.

Trained candidates can pursue employment in sectors including civil aviation, corporates, industries, hospitals, educational institutions and hospitality. The academy will offer an expanded curriculum delivered by experienced trainers, with a focus on certified vocational training and increasing opportunities for women.

SEDI Chirawa also provides training in Business Correspondence, Beauty & Wellness, Domestic Data Entry, Guest Service Associate and Field Technician courses.

Mr. Manish Joshi, CEO, Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, said, “It is encouraging to see a new establishment taking shape to skill the youth of the region. I am confident that this course will help bridge the growing demand for professionally trained unarmed security guards across various sectors, while creating meaningful employment opportunities for our youth,”.

Mr. Chandrakant Kumbhani, CEO, Ambuja Foundation, said, “Ambuja Foundation believes in bringing positive change in the lives of rural communities. With the launch of Security Guard Skill Academy, we aim to address several key challenges, including workforce readiness and sector-specific skill shortages. Through this strategic partnership with NSF, we are committed to empowering youth through skill training and placement opportunities in providing sustainable career solutions.

The academy is intended to expand access to job-oriented training and employment opportunities for rural youth across several states, building on the organisations’ existing skilling and placement efforts.
