Allcargo Logistics to support free-of-cost life-saving surgeries for underprivileged children

New Delhi, Dec 24, 2020: Allcargo Logistics, India’s largest end-to-end integrated logistics solutions provider, will be providing free-of-cost cardiac & other lifesaving surgeries for 50 underprivileged children. The company has collaborated with SRCC Children’s Hospital and Narayana Hrudayalaya to extend the support for children from underprivileged sections of society.

Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman - Allcargo Logistics, ECU Worldwide and Gati, said, "Children are the greatest asset of our country and the very foundation on which its future will be built and sustained. It is our foremost duty to ensure that our future generations are strong, healthy and disease-free.  Allcargo’s collaboration with SRCC Children’s Hospital and Narayana Hrudayalaya gives us the opportunity to help children from underprivileged sections of society get advanced heart care and treatment, so they can live a better, healthier life."

Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman & Founder, Narayana Health thanked Allcargo logistics and his family for coming forward to help us save the lives of children with heart disease.  "India has the world’s largest number of children born with heart disease. Unfortunately, most of them cannot afford to undergo corrective heart surgery. Narayana Hrudayalaya with SRCC Children’s Hospital is grateful to Mr Shashi Kiran Shetty for making healthcare accessible."
