Alcobrew Distilleries Adopts After-School Club to Support 110 Children
New Delhi | October 7, 2026: Alcobrew Distilleries India Ltd. has adopted an after-school club run by non-profit organisation Vision Unlimited to support the education and development of around 110 children from families of construction labourers and daily wage earners.
The initiative falls under Project Vidyauday, Alcobrew’s flagship education programme, and forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. The club provides children aged two to 15 with a structured learning environment, academic support and guidance from educators.
The programme offers early childhood education for younger children, bridge learning for those who have not started school at the appropriate age, and after-school academic support for children already enrolled in school. These services aim to help children strengthen their understanding of classroom subjects, complete homework and continue their education.
Romesh Pandita, Chairman and Managing Director, Alcobrew Distilleries India Ltd., said, "Education is the most powerful foundation we can help build for a child. Through Project Vidyauday and our partnership with Vision Unlimited, we want to make sure that children of the workers who build our cities get the same chance to learn, grow and dream as anyone else."
The club also conducts computer literacy classes for school-going children, introducing them to basic computer skills and digital tools.
Dr Shibal Bhartiya, Founder, Vision Unlimited, said, “Over the past six years, Vision Unlimited has grown from a small community initiative into a network of safe spaces where children can learn, flourish and dream beyond the circumstances they are born into. We are delighted to have Alcobrew Distilleries join us on this journey, because meaningful partnerships like these allow us to build lasting opportunities for children and their families.”
Through the adoption, Alcobrew and Vision Unlimited aim to provide children from underserved communities with access to foundational learning, continued academic support and digital education.
