Tanzania, September 22 2025: AISECT has formalised two strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in Tanzania, East Africa, as part of its efforts to expand global collaboration and deliver future-ready skill programs for African youth.

A delegation led by Mr. Mukesh Sharma, Vice President, International Division, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, General Manager, AISECT, met with university leaders, government representatives, and industry stakeholders in Tanzania to explore partnerships connecting learners to global job markets.

Under the agreements, Dar es Salaam Tumaini University (DarTU) will introduce digital and future skills courses tailored to Africa’s employment needs, along with faculty recruitment support in law and mass communication. Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) will collaborate with AISECT on faculty and student exchange, curriculum co-development, and joint certification programs in healthcare, business management, and entrepreneurship.

Discussions were also initiated with the University of Dar es Salaam to pilot vocational training and digital literacy programs. AISECT is additionally exploring collaborations with HR agencies and education partners to strengthen job placement and industry linkages in East Africa.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President, AISECT, said, “Our collaborations in Tanzania are more than academic agreements, they are strategic pathways to link African youth with the skills, certifications, and industry exposure they need to thrive in the global economy. This has opened concrete avenues for joint training programs, faculty development, and entrepreneurship incubation that will have lasting socio-economic impact.”

With over 40,000 centres, partnerships with multiple ministries and global organisations, and initiatives impacting more than 60 lakh individuals, AISECT’s Tanzania agreements mark an important step in creating a globally interconnected skilling ecosystem.
