New Delhi, December 17, 2025: AIESEC in Delhi IIT, in association with the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives, IIT Delhi, hosted its flagship event Stand By Her 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, bringing together young leaders and professionals to discuss women’s empowerment and leadership.
Supported by official partner Havells and sports partner Kabaddi Champions League, the initiative aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Gender Equality (SDG 5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3).
The event featured a series of talks and discussions focused on leadership, resilience, and personal growth. Nandini Sharma, Miss Grand India 2025 finalist, addressed the audience on the importance of reinvention and encouraged young women to embrace multifaceted identities without fear of judgment. She was followed by Dr. Sanjeen Sawhney, Forbes Asia Power Businesswoman and Managing Director of ANB Auto India, who spoke on financial freedom and highlighted economic independence and ethical leadership as key pillars of empowerment.
A panel discussion on leadership and resilience concluded the programme, featuring Vanshikaa Oberoi, Founder of The Fingerprint Labs; Tanvee Tutlani, Founder of Diet Smart; and Radhika Modi, a member of the UN Women 30 for 2030 Network. The panel explored themes ranging from personal branding and wellness to intersectionality and gender dynamics, offering both entrepreneurial and global perspectives.
The event was organised by the AIESEC committee led by Rudraksh Raj, Head of Business Development, along with managers Ujjwal Rohilla and Dhriti Gupta, who coordinated the programme.

Through Stand By Her 2025, AIESEC in Delhi IIT aimed to create a platform for dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration, reinforcing the role of youth-led initiatives in advancing women’s leadership and inclusive growth.
