Venus Foundation Signs MoU with Haryana Government to Upgrade Government Schools in Panchkula

Panchkula, July 21, 2025: Venus Foundation, the CSR arm of Venus Remedies Ltd., has signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Haryana to transform two government schools in Panchkula into future-ready learning hubs. The initiative is aimed at enhancing infrastructure and promoting digital and inclusive education in alignment with the goals of NEP 2020, Samagra Shiksha, and Saksham Haryana.

The collaboration targets Government Primary School and Government Senior Secondary School in Sector 19, Panchkula. The project, fully funded and executed by Venus Foundation, includes the installation of smart classrooms, computer and science labs, solar energy systems, and girl-friendly sanitation facilities. Additional interventions include upgrading drinking water infrastructure, providing RO units, and ensuring access to clean water and improved hygiene for students.

In addition to classroom renovations and digital upgrades, the initiative will focus on comprehensive development by creating playgrounds, indoor recreational areas, and inclusive infrastructure for children with special needs. The Foundation will also distribute uniforms, hygiene kits, and educational materials to underprivileged students, while organizing health camps, life skills sessions, career counselling, and teacher capacity-building workshops.

The Government of Haryana, through the School Education Department, will facilitate access to school premises and coordinate administrative support. A Joint Steering Committee will monitor the implementation and provide strategic guidance throughout the five-year term.
