TractorNext Launches Agri and Rural-Tech Equipment Marketplace in India

Pune, October 27, 2026: TractorNext, a digital marketplace focused on agricultural mechanisation and rural equipment, has been launched to help farmers, rural entrepreneurs and equipment buyers access product information and make informed purchasing decisions. The platform was unveiled in Pune by G. S. Grewal, President of the Tractor and Mechanization Association (TMA) and a veteran of the agricultural machinery industry.

TractorNext features more than 1,000 products from over 100 Indian and international brands. Its platform brings together multiple equipment categories, including agricultural drones, tractors, farm implements, bulldozers and off-the-road (OTR) tyres, through a common product discovery interface.

The platform aims to help buyers assess equipment based on suitability, performance, technology, operating costs and long-term value. It will offer product information, comparison tools and access to relevant expertise to support purchasing decisions as agricultural mechanisation and rural technology continue to evolve.

Speaking at the launch, G. S. Grewal said, “India has considerable potential to advance agricultural mechanisation, particularly through greater awareness, better access to technology and informed equipment choices. Today, farmers have more options than ever before, but selecting the right technology for their specific needs remains a challenge. Digital platforms that make reliable product information accessible, simplify comparisons and connect buyers with appropriate solutions can play an important role in this journey. Ultimately, mechanisation must help farmers improve productivity, efficiency and profitability.”

Alongside serving equipment buyers, TractorNext aims to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers improve their digital visibility, reach regional markets and connect with prospective customers. The platform also plans to incorporate local-language communication and market engagement to make equipment information more accessible to rural communities.

Vishnu Dhas, Founder and CEO of TractorNext, said, “Our vision is to make equipment selection simpler and more informed for India’s farming and rural communities. Whether someone is purchasing an Agri-drone, Tractor, an agricultural implement, bulldozers or specialised equipment, the decision involves a significant investment. We want TractorNext to become a trusted source of information that helps buyers understand their options and make choices suited to their needs. At the same time, we aim to help manufacturers connect more effectively with customers across regional markets.”

The launch event brought together representatives from the agricultural machinery industry, equipment distribution, agricultural technology and related sectors. The gathering also featured Leader as a Coach, a book authored by G. S. Grewal that draws on his leadership experience and discusses people development through coaching, empowerment and continuous learning.

Through its digital marketplace, TractorNext aims to bring equipment discovery and product comparisons into a single platform for India's agricultural and rural economy.
