TheCSRUniverse ESEC’25 to accelerate India’s Human Capital Transformation Through Education, Skilling & Employability

csr

New Delhi, Nov 3, 2025: In response to the urgent need for transformative action in India’s education and workforce landscape, TheCSRUniverse will host the inaugural edition of Education, Skilling & Employability Conference 2025 (ESEC’25) on November 26 in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. This landmark summit, organized in strategic partnership with DEVI Sansthan, aims to become a national platform to unify policymakers, business leaders, skilling organizations, academic institutions, education technology innovators, and grassroots changemakers around the core mission of fast-tracking India’s progress in foundational literacy, skilling, and employability.

Why ESEC?

India is at a critical crossroads in harnessing its demographic dividend. Despite impressive strides in expanding access and policy innovation under NEP and NIPUN Bharat, alarming skill gaps persist. Only about 55% of graduates are considered employable, and vast numbers of young people lack essential foundational skills for lifelong learning or workplace readiness. Against this backdrop, ESEC’25 is conceived as a catalytic intervention—bringing together over 300 leading voices to deliberate, ideate and commit to actionable pathways that bridge the persistent gaps between school, skill-building, and sustainable employment.

What Makes ESEC’25 Unique?

The theme for the inaugural edition of ESEC’25 is "Beyond NIPUN Goals: Fast-tracking FLN Mission for Viksit Bharat@2047." Recognizing that foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) are bedrock prerequisites for all further learning and future jobs, the conference will showcase proven classroom innovations, scalable digital models, and cross-sector collaborations driven by both CSR funding and government policy. DEVI Sansthan’s ALfA pedagogy (Accelerating Learning for All), recognized for rapid results even in underserved communities, will anchor discussions on how public, private, and civil society can synergize to deliver lasting impact.

Agenda & Session Highlights

The ambitious, full-day agenda features:

  • Championing Foundational Learning through Corporate-Community Partnership – CSR leaders and foundation heads share large-scale FLN project experience and funding models.
  • Policy-makers’ Panel exploring strategies for integrating evidence-based interventions with the education system and envisioning public-private partnerships.
  • Innovations in FLN: CSR-led Transformation – EdTech leaders and practitioners demonstrate learning apps, monitoring platforms, and scalable content for schools.
  • Creating Measurable Outcomes – Panels on metrics, technology-enabled monitoring, and collaborative impact assessment, including leading NGOs and academic experts.
  • Stories of Transformation, featuring grassroots educators, teachers, and community champions who have driven real change under challenging conditions.
  • Closing Plenary & Valedictory Session which sets the roadmap for future action, partnerships, and policy engagement aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

With more than 20 high-profile speakers drawn from CSR leadership, government agencies, renowned EdTech companies, and the academic community—and over 300 participants from across India—the conference promises a unique blend of policy insight, grassroots innovation, and private sector mobilization. Participants will have opportunities to network, initiate new collaborations, and access peer-learning platforms vital for scaling systemic reforms.

Why ESEC’25 Matters

As India aspires to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, the ESEC’25 aims to break silos, create multi-sectoral momentum, and lay the groundwork for scalable solutions—connecting foundational learning to skilling and sustainable employability, and ensuring that no child, teacher, or community is left behind in the education revolution.

ESEC’25 invites forward-looking corporates and CSR leaders to join this collaborative movement — to not only invest in skills but to co-create India’s future-ready workforce.
