Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 Grand Finale to Feature 20 Teams

New Delhi, October 9, 2026: Samsung’s fifth edition of Solve for Tomorrow 2026 will conclude with its Grand Finale on October 14 and 15 in New Delhi, where 20 finalist teams will present technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Four winning teams will receive cumulative incubation grants of ₹2 crore to further develop their ideas, with mentorship support from the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi.

The finalists will showcase their innovations across four thematic tracks: AI Living for India, Health and Education, Environmental Sustainability, and Sport & Tech. A jury comprising Samsung leadership and experts from academia, government and industry will evaluate the solutions.

The programme has brought together young innovators from across the country to develop technology-based responses to challenges in their communities. More than half of the Top 20 teams are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, with finalists representing 18 cities across 12 states.

As part of the programme, participants have progressed through problem identification, design thinking, prototyping, expert mentorship and pitching. Their solutions incorporate technologies such as artificial intelligence, wearable Internet of Things (IoT) devices and sustainable design.

The Top 20 teams have also received ₹20 lakh in collective grants for prototype development, along with the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones to support their work.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is a global initiative that encourages young people to use science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to address real-world problems. Participants identify challenges in their communities and develop solutions with the support of technology, mentorship and other resources.

Samsung has also established partnerships with Startup India under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), MeitY Startup Hub, Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog, and Manthan under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. These collaborations support the programme’s focus on providing young innovators with access to mentorship, technology and opportunities to develop their ideas.

The initiative aligns with Samsung’s global corporate social responsibility vision, “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” which focuses on helping young people build the knowledge and skills needed to develop solutions for future challenges.

The October 14–15 Grand Finale will determine the four winning teams, which will receive incubation support to take their technology-driven solutions forward.
