Delhi, February 06, 2026: Samsung announced the certification of 2,000 students in Bengaluru under its Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme, marking a milestone in its efforts to build a future-ready technology talent pool in Karnataka. The certification ceremony was held at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, in the presence of senior representatives from the Government of Karnataka, academia, industry bodies and Samsung.
Under the Bengaluru cohort, 1,100 students were certified in Artificial Intelligence, while 900 completed training in Coding & Programming. The curriculum emphasised hands-on, industry-aligned learning designed to strengthen employability by equipping students with practical digital skills relevant to current and emerging job roles.
Samsung Innovation Campus is operational across 10 states in India and forms a key part of Samsung’s skilling initiatives aligned with national priorities. Building on the Bengaluru milestone, the company reiterated its intent to further expand skilling interventions in Karnataka, contributing to its broader goal of upskilling 20,000 students in future technologies across the country.

Highlighting the role of industry-led skilling, Shri Santosh S. The certification of 2,000 students in Bengaluru reflects strong collaboration between industry and institutions, empowering youth with future-ready skills and reinforcing Karnataka’s position as a leading hub for innovation and talent development.”
Launched in India in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus focuses on expanding access to future-tech education, particularly in underserved and semi-urban regions. The programme is implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) through accredited training partners. Nationally, SIC has recorded 45% participation from women, reflecting a focus on inclusive skilling. Alongside technical training, students also receive soft-skills inputs and placement support to enhance workplace readiness.
