New Delhi, October 04, 2025: PepsiCo India showcased its “Partnership of Progress” at World Food India 2025, highlighting initiatives in regenerative agriculture, water stewardship, and women empowerment as part of its commitment to strengthening India’s food ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, Yashika Singh, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer & Sustainability Head, PepsiCo India and South Asia, said, “At this year’s World Food India, PepsiCo India showcased its work in regenerative farming, water stewardship, and skilling programs like RevolutioNari, while also highlighting the partnerships that enabled these initiatives. The platform is a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how our ‘Partnership of Progress’ philosophy is being put into action on the ground. We are proud to stand alongside farmers, women changemakers, and community partners to co-create a resilient food and beverage ecosystem for the country. These initiatives not only support livelihoods but also drive sustainable and inclusive growth, strengthening India’s future.”

The company presented its work with farmers through Mitti Jaanch Kendras (community-run soil testing centres) and the Biochar Project with Punjab Agricultural University, which converts crop stubble into biochar to boost soil fertility and cut emissions. Nearly 900 farmers have benefitted from soil testing services, while biochar adoption has led to yield increases of up to 19% and reduced fertilizer costs by up to 33%.

PepsiCo also spotlighted its flagship RevolutioNari program, aimed at empowering one million women with access to skilling, certifications, and employment across multiple sectors. The initiative, supported by partners including Wadhwani Foundation, Verix, Mrida Heart ‘N Soil Foundation, Indus Action Initiatives, and FICSI, is on track to reach 300,000 beneficiaries within a year.

On water stewardship, PepsiCo shared details of Potato Moisture Recovery Systems in its plants, saving nearly 40 million liters of water annually, and its Sustainable Water Resource Development and Management (SWRDM) program, which recharged 1,073 million liters of groundwater in 2024 and positively impacted more than 89,000 people, including 41,000 women.

PepsiCo India’s participation underlined its broader commitment to building resilient value chains that support livelihoods, conserve resources, and promote inclusive growth in line with its global pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) vision.
