Ottobock Supports Over 1,000 Para Athletes at India’s First World Para Athletics Championships

New Delhi, October 06, 2025: Ottobock successfully supported the conclusion of the 12th World Para Athletics Championships, held for the first time in India at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. Over eight days of competition, more than 1,000 athletes from over 100 countries participated in 186 medal events, with Ottobock serving as the Official Technical Service Provider.

The company’s on-site technical team delivered close to 300 expert repairs and precision adjustments for prosthetics, orthotics, and wheelchairs, ensuring athletes could perform at their best. Athletes using Ottobock technology won four gold and four silver medals at the championships, highlighting the role of advanced mobility solutions in para sports.
