Bengaluru, November 12, 2025: Marking National Education Day, Myntra, one of India’s leading fashion and lifestyle platforms, announced the launch of two flagship education initiatives under its CSR and Sustainability arm, Myntra Cares, as part of the new ‘MynVidhya’ program. The initiatives aim to provide comprehensive educational support — from foundational learning to infrastructure enhancement — for underserved communities in Bengaluru.
The MynVidhya program is designed to bridge educational gaps for children from disadvantaged backgrounds while creating long-term opportunities for higher education and skill development. It includes two major components: foundational learning for out-of-school children and the transformation of school infrastructure for improved learning outcomes.
Under the first initiative, Myntra has partnered with Links Educational and Charitable Trust to provide primary education to 90 children from migrant worker families who have been excluded from formal schooling. Operating through a dedicated learning centre near Myntra’s Bengaluru headquarters, the program supports students through the National Open School System (Levels 1, 2, and 3) — equivalent to Grades 3, 5, and 7.
The Trust will manage daily operations, while Myntra will fund infrastructure, faculty, educational materials, and meals. Myntra employees will also volunteer to support the initiative, helping strengthen community engagement.
The second initiative focuses on revitalising BKMS School, a 100-year-old government-aided institution near Commercial Street, in collaboration with CommuniTree. Serving 107 students from low-income families, the school’s phased renovation — running from October 2025 to March 2026 — will include classroom upgrades, improved sanitation, digital learning infrastructure, lighting, and wiring. Once completed, the school will have capacity to accommodate over 400 students.
Govindraj M.K., Chief Human Resources Officer, Myntra, said, “Education is one of the most powerful ways to drive lasting change. On National Education Day, we are proud to launch these initiatives under MynVidhya, which bring together our efforts to support children at every stage of their learning journey, from primary education to higher studies. These initiatives reflect our belief that meaningful impact comes from sustained investment in communities, enabling young learners to realise their full potential.”
Hafiz Khan, Founder, CommuniTree, added, “The BKMS school transformation project is about more than infrastructure; it’s about creating a nurturing environment where children from underserved backgrounds can learn, grow, and aspire. We are excited to work with Myntra to give this heritage site a new life and a brighter future for its students.”
Urvi Jariwala, Founder-Trustee, Links Educational and Charitable Trust, said, “At Links Trust, we believe every child, regardless of where they come from, deserves a fair chance at a brighter future. Children of migrant labourers often bear the weight of displacement and economic hardship, but with this collaboration with Myntra Cares, we are turning hope into opportunity. Together, we’re enabling 90 children to access quality education, giving them not just books and classrooms, but a pathway to dream, learn and grow with dignity.”
The MynVidhya initiatives reinforce Myntra’s broader vision of empowering communities through education, inclusion, and long-term social impact, in alignment with India’s national education and development goals.
