JKC Foundation Launches ‘Brilliantly Dyslexic’ Initiative for Inclusive Learning
New Delhi, October 12, 2026: JKC Foundation, the philanthropic arm of J.K. Cement Limited, has launched ‘Brilliantly Dyslexic’, an initiative to raise awareness of dyslexia and promote inclusive environments across schools, higher education institutions and workplaces. The initiative aims to reach 1 million individuals over the next five years through awareness campaigns and outreach programmes.
Founded by Dr. Raghavpat Singhania and Mrs. Sonam Singhania, Brilliantly Dyslexic seeks to improve understanding of dyslexia and encourage approaches that recognise diverse learning needs. JKC Foundation is partnering with Orkids Foundation to strengthen awareness and support for individuals with dyslexia.
The initiative focuses on early identification, particularly in schools, and promotes teaching approaches that help teachers, parents and students understand different learning requirements. It also aims to address the challenges individuals may face as they move from school to higher education and employment.
Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, J.K. Cement Ltd. and Founder, Brilliantly Dyslexic, said, “Every child learns differently, but too often we mistake a different way of learning for a lack of ability or effort. A child who is not understood early can lose belief in themselves long before anyone discovers what they are capable of. That is our reason behind launching this initiative. Our vision has always been to create opportunities that enable individuals to realise their potential, and Brilliantly Dyslexic is a step towards that.”
Mrs. Sonam Singhania, Co-Founder, Brilliantly Dyslexic, said, “When we recognise differences early and provide the right support, we give strengths and creativity the chance to flourish. We hope to encourage more inclusive approaches, so that individuals with dyslexia are not defined by how they learn but recognised for how they can contribute.”
The programme builds on the framework provided by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which address the identification and support of individuals with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
Beyond schools, Brilliantly Dyslexic aims to encourage higher education institutions and employers to adopt more accessible learning practices, support systems and workplace environments. The initiative also seeks to promote greater recognition of the creativity, problem-solving abilities and perspectives that individuals with dyslexia can bring to academic and professional settings.
Through its five-year outreach plan, JKC Foundation aims to expand awareness of dyslexia and encourage institutions to provide appropriate support, helping individuals participate more fully in education and employment.
