India-Founded KarbunWise Launches Carbon Assessment Software in the US
New York, October 24, 2026: India-founded climate technology and advisory firm KarbunWise has launched its carbon assessment software in the United States, targeting real estate developers, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, and industrial manufacturers seeking to automate carbon accounting and sustainability reporting.
The company announced the launch at the Greenbuild International Conference + Expo 2026 in New York City, where it is showcasing its software under the event’s theme, “Invest for Impact.” The platform is designed to automate Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), helping businesses prepare carbon assessments with traceable and audit-ready data.
The launch comes as building standards and carbon disclosure requirements place greater emphasis on measuring embodied carbon. According to KarbunWise, its software converts Building Information Modeling (BIM) data and factory-floor inputs into Whole-Building Life Cycle Assessment (WBLCA) models aligned with LEED v5 requirements, including MRp2 and MRc2 credits.
Arjun Vijayaragavan, Founder and CEO, and Divya Sukumar, Founder and Director of KarbunWise, represented the company at the event at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
“For years, carbon accounting and life cycle assessments were treated as passive, check-the-box exercises. Today, with LEED v5 mandating embodied carbon baselines and global supply chains enforcing strict transparency, carbon data has become commercial infrastructure. Bringing our platform to North America at Greenbuild marks a pivotal step in our mission to make sustainability data as trusted and audit-ready as financial data for 10,000 enterprises worldwide,” said Arjun Vijayaragavan, Founder & CEO of KarbunWise.
To encourage adoption among US project teams, KarbunWise is offering free first-year platform access to qualifying architecture firms, consultants and developers visiting its booth during the expo. The offer includes continuous technical support from certified LCA practitioners, available 24 hours a day.
KarbunWise said its platform is already used by more than 100 organisations across the UK, the Middle East and India. Its customers include listed conglomerates, bedding manufacturers and global infrastructure contractors.
The software connects more than 200,000 verified LCA data points from international databases, including USLCI, Ecoinvent and ÖKOBAUDAT. Through its US launch, the company aims to expand access to carbon assessment tools as businesses respond to evolving building standards and growing demands for supply-chain transparency.
