Noida, October 25, 2025: HCLTech, a leading global technology company, has announced the third edition of the HCLTech Climate Action Grant in the Americas program, reaffirming its commitment to advancing innovative climate solutions across the region. This year’s edition will award $1 million in grants to three non-profit organizations working to address biodiversity loss and promote sustainability in 10 countries—Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the United States.
Launched in 2023, the HCLTech Climate Action Grant program is a five-year initiative committing $5 million to support scalable, replicable, and sustainable solutions tackling the global climate crisis. The program seeks to empower non-profits that demonstrate impactful innovation and community-driven approaches to environmental conservation and resilience.
Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Senior Vice President, Global CSR, HCLTech, said, “The HCLTech Climate Action Grant in the Americas has received an overwhelming response from organizations bringing fresh thinking and deep local insight to climate action. The diversity of ideas and the passion driving these projects reaffirm our belief that innovation and collaboration are key to shaping climate action. As we enter the next phase, we remain committed to partnering with changemakers who are shaping sustainable solutions for their communities and beyond.”
Over its first two editions, the program has awarded $2 million to six non-profit organizations, funding projects that have already generated tangible environmental and social impact across the region. The grants have so far helped empower over 1,400 young people and educators, restore 88 acres of longleaf pine forest with the plantation of more than 50,000 trees, and inspire over 1,000 students to design sustainable communities.
HCLTech’s climate grant program aligns with the company’s global sustainability goals and its broader CSR commitment to environmental stewardship and community empowerment. The company has received multiple recognitions for its sustainability performance, including a ‘Gold’ rating from EcoVadis for advanced sustainability practices, inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for the third consecutive year, and a 98% ‘Platinum’ rating for its owned buildings by Green Building Councils.
Applications for the 2025–26 grant cycle are now open from October 24, 2025 (International Day of Climate Action) to January 24, 2026. The three winning non-profits will be announced on World Environment Day, June 5, 2026.
